  1. Discussant at the Round Table on: “PERSONALIZED SURGICAL TREATMENT OF RECTAL CANCER”. The presentation took place on Friday 12 April 2013, 19:00 – 20:30, Democritus University of Thrace, Democritus I room.
  1. Lecture on “Robotic Surgery” with Dr. K. Konstantinidis as speaker, as part of the 4th course cycle of the 1st Department of Surgery – Organ Transplantation Unit of “Evangelismos” General Hospital of Athens. 13/3/2013, in the hospital’s “Gardikas” amphitheater.
  1. Invited speaker of the Crete medical students at the Scientific Workshop on “The art of Robotic Surgery”, held on Monday 1 April. The doctor was introduced by the Dean of the School of Medicine of the University of Crete, Mr. Andreas Margioris, and the President of the Medical Association of Heraklion, Mr. Grigoris Paspatis. Dr. Konstantinidis’ presentation of developments in robotic surgery made a strong impression both on the students from all years of Medicine and on the professors from various departments of the University of Crete who attended.
  1. Invited discussant at the 5th Panhellenic Congress of the Hellenic Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, held on Friday 12 April 2013 at the Thraki Palace hotel in Alexandroupoli.
  1. Dr. Konstantinidis and his team took part as invited speakers in the 19th Scientific Congress of Medical Students of Greece – 7th International Forum of Medicine & Young Doctors. Dr. Konstantinidis spoke about his team’s worldwide pioneering work in single-incision surgery on Friday 19/4 at 18:00, just before the opening ceremony of the congress. On Saturday the whole team took part in a robotic surgery round table that began at 12:30. The congress was held at the conference center of the University of Patras in Rio. Also, on Friday 19/4, Dr. Konstantinidis was on the panel chairing the Robotic Surgery session, held at 17.00.
  1. Invited speaker at the 8th Panhellenic Congress of Obesity Surgery on 18 May, with a talk on “Robotic Surgery and Obesity Operations”. He also chaired a Round Table on “Newer Methods of Managing Obesity” (19:00-20:30). The congress took place at the Porto Palace hotel in Thessaloniki.
